PARSED CONTENT

The domain jazzjournal.co.uk had the following in the web page, "After Jaco Pastorius and Stanley Clarke there was Marcus Miller." I observed that the website stated " Andy Hughes spoke to the go-to electric bassist of the 1980s." They also stated " Time was the harmonies and ternary form of classical music were subsumed into jazz and popular style to create new sounds. These days, as exemplified by three young musicians pianist Marko Churnchetz. And to a lesser extent bassist Matthew Read. Ndash; the adoption of classical procedures is sometimes more explicit." The meta header had Jazz as the first keyword. This keyword was followed by Magazine, Reviews, and Jazz website which isn't as important as Jazz. The other words the site used was Jazz traditional. Jazz history is also included but could not be seen by search engines.

More Jazz Than Mess

Herbie Mann interviewed in 1964. You see, Brazilian music has shown me that music in general can still remain exciting and dramatic without having an overabundance of drums. In other words, the rhythm can be implied, rather than made obvious. We now have a more subtle approach, playing more straight jazz and bossa novas than anything else. Unfortunately, many American percussionists stick to repetitious patterns, making for stodgy and uninspired results.
